On the website and in the Tastemade Cooking app, selections within the same filter are OR, while those across filters are AND. The one exception is the Diets filter, where multiple selections are AND.
For example:
- If you select American and Italian in the Cuisines filter, you'll see recipes tagged with either Italian or American.
- If you select American in the Cuisines filter and Vegetarian in the Diets filter, you'll see recipes that are tagged with both American and Vegetarian.
- If you select Healthy and High Protein in the Diets filter, you'll see recipes that are tagged with both Healthy and High Protein.
You can achieve an AND search within the same filter by applying one option (for example Cuisines = Italian) and doing a free text search for the other (for example "American").
